Shikaakwa Bears

22.00

Chicago was originally called Shikaakwa by the Miami-Illinois tribe who inhabited the region. It translates as "stinky onion." Not kidding, we swear. This shirt is the first in a series dedicated to the original inhabitants of various U.S. cities. It's a gentle reminder that we weren't the first people here.

Screen printed by hand onto a 4.2 oz Bella+Canvas 52% combed ringspun cotton, 48% poly tshirt, which is tailored for a custom contoured fit. Also: super soft. Shirt color: Heather Navy.

These shirts run a bit small, and a bit long (!) so if you're in between sizes, order larger. Also, tuck it in.*
